Welcome to the Wynn Family Web-Site!

This site, and it's links contain information and photographs that are of particular interest to our family, extended families, friends and associates. (Above photo taken approx 1917).

Since you are here the odds are your name is Wynn and you are looking for your roots or you are acquainted with members of the Wynn family. If you are trying to research YOUR particular branch of the "Wynn" family and this looks like we may have some connection It is IMPORTANT that you go to our "Wynn Mill" page.

We are the relatives and descendants of Robert Bryant Wynn and Hattie Lee Baldwin-Wynn who lived in and near Worth County Georgia. Robert and Hattie had seven children: James David (D.J.) Wynn, Robert Louis Wynn, James Willie (Dub) Wynn, Marie Wynn-Fulton, Leroy Roscoe (Square) Wynn, Hattie Lee (Wren) Wynn-Burgess and Julius Caesar (Primus) Wynn. Also raised in their household for a period of time were relatives, Carrie Wynn and Charles Wynn.

There are many other relatives on the Wynn family tree with different surnames that will appear in these pages.

I have seen copies of U. S. Census records that prove our relatives from Africa were in the U.S. prior to the mid 1800's. (Of course our Native American kin were here long pre Viking). Indeed we are an American family.

We have expanded far and wide across the U. S. A. and left footprints around the world... and we're just getting started!

This site was started in 1999 by Lindsay Maurice Wynn the second Son of Julius & Flossie Wynn (Yeah, I know... most of you never knew me by my first name). I acted as "Web-masters" until late 2011 when others stepped in to keep this project going ( I'm not getting any younger). I can be reached via e-mail at mauricewynn@netscape.net We welcome input, information and all the help we can get from other family members... and would especially love to hear from others who may belong to our family but have been out of contact. Pictures, articles, clippings, invitations, obituaries and such may be copied and sent to me via e-mail or "snail mail". I will get them to the new Web-Master while we go through this transition period.
